Conclusion
The Netherlands and Slovenia are not the same as you have read. There
are many problems with food and drinks. In the Netherlands 9% of the children
already drinks at the age of 13. In Slovenia it is 12%. The habits are also
different. In the Netherlands we have three meals: in the morning and around one
o ’clock in the midday. The big meal is around six in the afternoon. In Slovenia
the big mail is in the afternoon and you also eat a bit at night.
In the Netherlands the student mostly eat unhealthy food at their
cafeterias at school. At the supermarket, which we visited are the main buyers
families. The most important products for them are the fresh products like
meat, cheese and vegetables, the primary needs. The last research we did was in
a distribution Centre for food called Udea. It is the biggest biological food
distribution Centre of the Netherlands. There we interviewed a worker on how the
business is and what is selling the most. The biological food is from all over
the country from farmers. When a product is not right, it will not be sold
anymore. The main buyers are stores all over in the Netherlands. The products of
Udea are very popular and the business is going very good.
We had some inteviews in Ljubljana's public market, there we talked with the fish seller, horse meat seller, fruit seller and vegetables seller. We asked them about the effect of the crisis and almost all of them agreed, that the crisis effected their bussines. Most of them have pernament guests, that are available to pay more.
