There are many typical foods and drinks in Slovenia and Holland. Because there are so many, we only specify us on some one. We are going to talk about boerenkool, hutspot and the drinks jenever and oranjebitter.
Boerenkool (kale) is really a Dutch dish. True the right combination of moisture and temperature the kale grows like hell. It is a dish that will be eaten in in the winter months. Combined with a delicious sausage the meal is a delight for every Dutchman. It is made of potatoes, kale and the delicious sausage.


The Dutch Hutspot is a delicious meal for a cold winter evening or a raining day in autumn. It has been made of potatoes, unions, carrots and broth.





In the Netherlands it is normal to pick up Chinese food. The Ducth people have very close families, most of the families come together on Sunday to eat with each other. It has been cooked of Pommeranz-apples. You can taste the bitter flavor from the peel of the Pommeranz-apples. This is why people typically add sugar to the Orange bitter.
